FLAVORx for Pets Products

FLAVORx for Pets provides the tools, knowledge, and support you need to confidently turn pills and tablets into tasty flavored liquid treats that your patients will love.

Flavors

All FLAVORx flavoring ingredients are formulated specifically for pets and are approved by the FDA or are listed as being generally recognized as safe on the FEMA GRAS list. One 2 oz bottle of flavoring yields approximately 85 flavored scripts.  We offer 9 savory flavors.

Vet Syrup

A sweet suspension vehicle specially formulated so that the medicine, flavoring, and sweetening enhancer are equally distributed within the solution. Not to be used for diabetic pets.

Feline Solution

A salty mixing vehicle formulated for use in cats.

Versafree Diabetic Solution

A suspension vehicle to be used in place of Vet Syrup when medicating a diabetic patient.

Sweetening Enhancer

A Stevia-based solution formulated to help mask the bitterness of medications. It is over 100 times sweeter than table sugar and safe for diabetics.

Perfit Plugs

A liquid tight, spill-proof plug designed to fit in the neck of the flavors and dispensing bottles. It is made from durable plastic so that it won’t break down or change the original composition of the medication or flavoring.

Dispensing Bottles

1 and 2 oz. bottles to hold compounded medications being sent home with pet owners.

Syringes (.5 ml, 1 ml, 3 ml, and 5 ml sizes)

Can be used for drawing flavor out of the flavor bottle and to send home with pet owners for administering medication.

Mortar & Pestle

Used to crush tablets for compounding.

Spatula

Used for transferring tablets and crushed medication during compounding.

Sticker rolls: “Shake well, Refrigerate” & “Flavored by FLAVORx”

Labels that can be placed on bottles of compounded medication reminding pet owners that the medication needs to be refrigerated. Also includes contact information for FLAVORx in case they have any questions about the flavors.

Graduate (10 ml and 50 ml sizes)

Used to measure liquid ingredients during compounding.
